Lent is a dreadful time for the Saints of the Most High God as persecution, trials, strife and crosses are in our ways, as this is the time of our Lord and Saviour´s crucifixion, over 2,009 years ago.
The reason why the Day is called Good Friday is because this is the Glorious Day when the Black Christ Arose from the dark domain with the keys of the death and hell; Emmanuel is a Jew and He was crucified on a Tuesday and on the Third Day, Friday morning, He Arose, to keep his Sabbath Holy.
When Mary Magdalene and Mary the Mother of James and Sister Salome bought sweet spices that they might come and anoint him, Jah Ras Tafari very early in the morning; they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the Sun, and they said among themselves “who shall roll away the stone from the door of the sepulcher” and when they looked they saw that the stone was rolled away for it was great. And entering into the sepulcher they saw a young man sitting on the right side clothed in alone white garment robe, his countenance was like lightening and they were affrighted and the Angel saith unto them be not affrighted, ye seek Jes-us of Nazareth which was crucified, Jah is risen, He is not here behold the place where they laid Him,

but go your ways, tell his Disciples and Peter “That Jah Ras Tafari goeth before you into Galilee, there shall ye see Him as he said unto you”.
The period of Fasting and Praying also Repenting, usually starts from Ash Wednesday to Good Friday (Resurrection Day). During this Holy season no fish, milk of animals, cheese, or by-products of the said are to be eaten also no baking powder in bread, no pure white flour bread, must be mixed with cornmeal or whole-wheat flour etc. We do not go in the sea to bathe at such time as the sea is purging itself.

And it came to pass in those days that Jes-us came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized of John in Jordan.
And straight way coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opened and the spirit like dove descending upon Jah Ras Tafari and there came a voice from Zion saying: “Thou art my beloved Son in whom I am well please” and immediately the Spirit of the Holy One driveth Jah Ras Tafari in to the wilderness and Jah Ras Tafari was there in the wilderness Forty Days and Forty Nights, Fasting and Praying.
Black History
2,009 years ago in Jamaica Egypt they hang the Black Christ on a Tuesday at mother white bridge (Spanish Town Road).
They put him in may pen cemetery/Galgulta. He rose on the Friday morning to meet his Sabbath, for He is Lord of Sabbath, the Hon. Jes us Emmanuel the Black Christ in Flesh, is alive. He rose.
This is why they hang Black Man on Tuesday, from that day to this day, 10 of April 2009.
